Willow is a truly renewable and sustainable crop annually harvested from a stump in withy beds. Planting of new willow beds is still done by hand here as the ‘take up’ rate is higher and does not require the involvement of intensive machinery.

These willow beds can last up to sixty years. We work sensitively with our environment to maintain a natural balance of wildlife, good land management and quality crop production.

Willow absorbs carbon from the atmosphere as it grows, and we, practice a carbon neutral policy, using no fossil fuels during the boiling process of our willow.

The decomposition and combustion of our willow coffins also does not add extra carbon into the atmosphere. This ultimately reduces the carbon footprint and helps the fight against global warming and climate change. Our environmentally-friendly willow coffins are strong and beautiful, perfect for those wanting something very personal and very special.
